Due to its botanical formulation, Tagetes is a contact insecticide. Its active compounds penetrate the insect's cuticle, completely paralyzing its nervous system. It has an intense excitatory effect, causing hypersensitivity to external stimuli, causing convulsions, muscle tetanization, and insect death. It obstructs and alters nerve impulses in neurons, thus having a strong irritant or knockdown effect, causing the insect to stop feeding, paralyze, and die upon contact with the treated surfaces.
Ways of use:
It is recommended to apply applications when the first egg layings or pest infestations are observed. Ensure that the product makes contact with the insects, and that the droplet size and spray pressure allow coverage of pest sites. Apply the higher dose in high infestations and when the foliage is dense. It can be applied during flowering and fruiting. The amount of water used will depend on the calibration based on the crop to be sprayed. There are no time restrictions for entering treated surfaces. No safety interval is required between the last application and harvest. Exempt from Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs).
