Reppel, plant extract from active ingredients and secondary metabolites obtained from garlic (Allium sativum) y el neem (Azadirachta indica) —allicin and azadirachtin mainly, in addition to large sulfur compounds. Reppel has an insect repellent, growth inhibitor, and antifeedant effect, due to the action of its bioactive compounds. Garlic and neem extracts act both on the plant and on the body and metabolism of insects, thanks to their systemic effect (acropetal and bacipetal). The active compounds remain for longer, even after several days of application. Reppel contains great antioxidant activity, which helps reduce free radical levels by inhibiting and delaying cellular aging, helping plants develop their own natural defense mechanisms known as phytoalexins.
