Fosfi Q is a compound of Phosphorus and Copper that when absorbed by plants has the property of stimulating the production of phytoalexins, natural substances that increase the natural defense system of plants against endoparasitic fungi such as gummosis in citrus or root rot and neck diseases (Phytophthora, Pythium, etc.). The copper provided by Fosfi Q is required for the production of chlorophyll, benefiting photosynthesis. It is present in several enzymatic systems and in oxidation-reduction reactions. It helps regulate the movement of water within plants and is required for the formation of seeds.
